When it comes to fertility challenges, every journey is deeply personal, and often, painfully isolating. One of the greatest joys of my work is witnessing the transformation that happens when women begin to feel empowered, supported, and finally see the results they’ve been dreaming of.
This is the beautiful journey of a client who came to me at age 37 after more than 7 years of trying to conceive. She had PCOS, struggled with her weight, and felt stuck in a lifestyle that wasn’t supporting her health—or her fertility. And yet, just two months after completing my programme, she received the news she had been waiting years to hear: she was pregnant.
Let’s rewind back to the beginning..
When Trying for a Baby Feels Like a Losing Battle
When this lovely client first reached out to me, she was exhausted. Like many women in demanding jobs, she was juggling long hours at a desk, low energy, and little motivation to prioritise her own wellbeing. Exercise was infrequent. Her diet lacked the essential nutrients needed to support her hormones and reproductive health. Add PCOS into the mix, and she was facing a perfect storm of challenges—physically and emotionally.
She and her husband had been trying for over seven years. Time was ticking. They had decided that IVF was probably the only option they had left. However, at her first appointment they unfortunately turned her down telling her she needed to lose some weight and to come back when she had achieved that.
She sadly felt that hope was fading. But something shifted when she heard me speak at an event. She said she felt an instant connection—and decided to take the leap.
The Turning Point: From Awareness to Action
One of the biggest “lightbulb moments” for her came early on, when we talked about how digestive health impacts hormonal balance. This piece of the puzzle had never been addressed before, and it was a game-changer for her.
Together, we worked through a personalised plan that focused on nourishing the body, rebalancing her gut microbiome, reducing inflammation, and improving lifestyle habits—all in a way that was supportive, realistic, and never restrictive.
She began introducing nutrient-dense, whole foods into her meals—learning to enjoy healthy eating without guilt, restriction, or overwhelm. I made all this very easy for her by providing weekly nutritious menus and recipes featuring meals that are quick and simple to make. We focused on sustainable, empowering changes that felt achievable and aligned with her busy life.
The Results: Physical, Emotional, and Life-Changing
As her body began to respond, she noticed:

● Less joint pain and better mobility
● Improved digestion
● Improved circulation
● A weight loss of 1 stone 2 lbs and 15.5 inches
● A more regular, predictable menstrual cycle
But the most important result?
🌸 She conceived naturally just two months after completing the programme.
She is now expecting her first baby, and I couldn’t be happier for her.
It Was Never Just About the Weight
Throughout her journey, one thing was clear—this wasn’t just about weight loss. That was a lovely bonus. What mattered most was restoring hormonal balance, nurturing and creating a body that was ready to support new life. It was also about identifying those negative thoughts and beliefs that were getting in the way and helping her to manage and change the narrative through coaching and practical tools to help her achieve that.
And she did it. With commitment, courage, and support, she changed the course of her story.
