Chia Seed Breakfast Delight

Dairy, Gluten, Sugar and Yeast Free breakfast

This a really quick and easy gluten free, highly nutritious and delicious breakfast that you make the night before.  So it is already just to remove from your fridge and eat in the morning. Or you could put it in a container to eat on the way to work or when you reach work. It is also sugar-free.

Nutritional benefits of Chia Seeds

Chia seeds are high in calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and protein. All of these nutrients are essential for bone health. Chia seeds are high in quality protein, much higher than most plant foods. They also contain Omega 3’s. They are also a good antioxidant.

1 Cup of unsweetened Almond Milk

3 Tbspns of Organic Chia Seeds

2 Tbspns of Organic Dessicated Coconut

1 Tbspn of  Organic Cocoa Nibs

1 Teaspoon of Lucuma Powder

2 Tbspns of Organic Goji Berries

All these items can be bought from good health food shops either in store on online. Check that your Almond Milk is unsweetened as quite a lot of them are sweetened in some way.

You will need a small mixing  bowl in which you add all of the ingredients one by one. A 1 pt bowl will be fine. First add the Almond Milk and then add all the other ingredients.

When everything is added into the mixing bowl, you give it all a really good stir round.

Cover the bowl and place in the fridge overnight. In the morning it will have turned into a thick consistency.

Remove from the fridge in the morning and enjoy!
